Chilifest returns to Okotoks this weekend, but they're spicing things up this year.

As always, there'll be a selection of chili to taste, and locals will vote for their favourite of the six.

The winner will receive the Chili Cook-Off trophy.

ATCO Gas grills will be nearby with burgers, hotdogs and corn on the cob.

Chili-tasting passports and tickets for food will be available at the Elks Hall.

Chili-tasting and the barbecue are scheduled to run from 12 to 3 p.m., though the chili will be limited in quantity.

An artisan market from MarketSquare will also be held during the event.

A bike valet service will be available, and waste stations will be set up in the area.

Chilifest serves as a fundraiser for the Okotoks Elks, Lions, Legion and Kinsmen Clubs.

More information can be seen on the town's website.
