In the Heritage B Junior league the Okotoks Bisons seem unstoppable.

They won both their games over the weekend and now lead the league with a 25-2-1 record.

They started off the weekend with a Friday night game against the Kainai Junior Braves as they shut them out 5-0.

Layton Draper picked up the shutout win.

Then on Saturday night they took on the Lomond Lakers in Vulcan and hammered them 16-1.

Jake Snashell picked up a hat trick and an assist for a four point night and Alaister Standen popped in two goals and three assists for a five point night.

It's not the case with the High River Flyers as they were unable to pick up any points in a home-and-home series with the Strathmore Wheatland Kings.

The Flyers lost both games 5-3.

All the Heritage League teams are now on the holiday break and won't resume play until the new year.
