Two rinks out of the Oilfields Curling Club in Black Diamond are headed to Provincials.

Jacob Libbus won the "A" event final at the U-18 Men's Southern Alberta Playdowns Saturday beating teammate Jared Palanuik 6-3.

Palanuik didn't miss a beat though as he went on to win the "B" event Sunday beating Okotoks Tyler Smith rink 8-6 to take the second and final spot at the U-18 Provincials in Lacombe next month.

The Southern Alberta Masters were also busy in High River this weekend.

Okotoks Jean Quigley's heading back to Provincials as she was a perfect 2-and-0 over the weekend.

On the men's side, Lorne Goodman from Airdrie took the "A" Event, while Lethbridge's Don Scheidegger is the "B" Event winner.

The "C" Event winner will be determined Monday and includes former two time Brier Champ, World Champion and and Olympic Bronze Medallist Ed Lukowich out of Calgary.

The Masters Provincials are back in High River in two weeks.
