The Northern Lights, aka Aurora Borealis, lit up Okotoks, High River and all of southern Alberta last night.
Recent solar flare activity led to a spectacular display of the Northern Lights, aka the aurora borealis, on Friday night.
The lights could be seen in High River, Okotoks and all across the southern Alberta.
Many people stayed up to watch and take photos of it with many sharing on social media pages.
There's also a chance they can be seen Saturday night too.
