Okotoks' newest grocery store opens this week.

The FreshCo location on Big Rock Lane will open its doors this Thursday, January 25 at 8 a.m.

It's located in the former Safeway location at 610 Big Rock Lane.

Safeway moved to D'Arcy Crossing over the summer.

FreshCo is owned by Sobeys Inc. which is a subsidiary of Empire Company Limited.

They also own the Sobeys and Safeway grocery chains.

Okotoks' FreshCo will be open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day.
