Kevin Todd has entered the race for the UCP nomination in the Livingstone-Macleod riding.

Todd is currently a councillor from the Town of Nanton however he's now on a leave of absence while he runs provincially.

He was elected as a Town of Nanton councillor in 2019 however he was actually a one-term councillor in Nanton back in 2009.

In a Facebook post release Todd says, “It’s important to remember that serving your community means focusing on how you can utilize real leadership to better other’s quality of life and be able to put politics aside in order to create trust in your constituents. What we need right now is grassroots, common sense, leadership and discussion making.”

​He says his campaign platform is focused on three messages: family, freedom and the environment.
