The Didsbury RCMP recently made an arrest in Carstairs that's connected to similar crimes in High River and Okotoks.

The RCMP were originally called out to a break-and-enter at the Tim Horton's in Carstairs on December 17, 2023.

The RCMP Southern Alberta District Crime Reduction Unit was brought in to assist in the investigation which led to an arrest on December 22.

It was during the investigation that it was discovered the suspect was involved with similar crimes locally during the same time period.

35-year-old Corey Pashe from Portage La Prairie, Manitoba is facing the following charges:

  • Break and enter and commit theft (x2)  
  • Break and enter with intent to commit an indictable offence (x2)
  • Fail to comply with Undertaking
  • Possession of break-in tools
  • Wearing a disguise with intent to commit an indictable offence

Pashe was also wanted in B.C. for similar offences.

He was remanded into custody and appears before a judge in the Canmore Provincial court today (January 10, 2024).
