Okay, we wanted a white Christmas but this is a little much. 😅

Waking up to like a foot of snow always makes for an interesting morning and it seems like everyone definitely had an INTERESTING morning.

Here at the Eagle, I got stuck for an hour but made it out, Logan got stuck at 5 am and had to get our boss Chelsea to pick him up (gotta love 4 Wheel Drive), Natasha got stuck but plowed through and Ben got stuck, left his car and walked to work.

Sounds like a great start to the day, right?

If you also got stuck this morning here are a couple of tips and tricks for next time we get a dump of snow:

1. Very important: If your tailpipe is blocked by snow and ice, your car’s exhaust has nowhere to go. That could cause it to filter back into your car! So be very careful.

2. Use Kitty Litter or your car floor mats (if they're rubber) to gain traction under your tires. So handy! (Could have used this trick this morning!)

3. Use rock salt to melt the ice under your tires. Table salt will also work in a pinch. If you don’t have either, try windshield washer fluid or antifreeze.

You know, even in the nightmare that was this morning it wass cool to see everyone come together to help one another out.

I saw people with snow plows, shovels, just the lending hand digging eachother out and lots took to social media to shoutout their saviors/snow angels!

I had to chuckle to myself because when I finally got unstuck I was driving through my neighborhood and "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year" was playing and snow plows were ripping down the streets, people were shoveling their sidewalks frantically and cars were spinning up snow stuck on the street.

It made for quite the visual.😂

Here's to hoping tomorrow morning's commute will be less complicated!
