October 31st is on a Saturday this year, adding to the Halloween fun.
There are several options for you to wear your costume and get into the spooky spirit, here are a few we have heard about:
Okotoks Ghost Walks starting at the Museum. are very popular and are on tonight, tomorrow and Friday nights - they are rumored to be sold out call 403-938-3204 to find out if you can tag along.
To kick it off on Thursday October 29th:
Head over to The Foothills Composite High School at 5pm for Halloween Carnival and Fright Night. Bring your little ones K to grade 6 and a donation for We Scare Hunger and enjoy the festivities.
Then Friday October 30th The Okotoks Recreation Centre is the place to be:
Starting at 10:00am is the Halloween Mini Monster Bash for the little ones to get into costume, sing songs, do crafts, and hear stories.
Then at 6:30pm bring the whole family back for the Haloween Howler Family Dance, reminiscent of the Community Hall dances from your youth.
Following that at 8:15 is all for the teens, it is the Teen Night Hallowscream Party at the Okotoks Youth Centre, get your zombie on and join in.
Still on the 30th over at the Foothills Centennial Centre is:
The Rock A Billy Halloween Bash!!
It's Dinner and a Dance starting at 6 pm Come and dance the fright away, prizes for best costume. Accepting donations for the Food Bank too.
Meanwhile over at the RPAC:
They will be doing the Time Warp and watching the cult classic, iconic interactive movie, Rocky Horror Picture Show starting at 9 pm
Halloween Day October 31st:
Back at the Okotoks Recreation Centre:
In the morning 10:00 am to noon it is the Free Okotoks Fall Fest/Halloween Party for preschool to grade 6.
Then at noon join Team Eagle, in costume and reporting live on location, all the ghoulish goings on at:
Green Haven Estates Haunted House Bash:
Kids can trick or treat in the haunted show home, do crafts, and have fun with a spooky game or two.
At various events around town on October 31st from noon to four:
Watch for the Zombie "Thriller" Flash mob. Or, better yet, be part of it!

The evening and night of October 31st:
Of course the traditional door to door costume brigade will be happening all around town.
