By now, we all know that this social distancing thing is key to slowing down the spread of Covid-19. In the grand scheme of things, lying low for a little while is a small sacrifice to make for the increased safety of all, it certainly is annoying and will have it’s challenges, not least of which being our relationships with each other

So how can we spend this time without going stir crazy??

Well… if you are with kids, schedules are important - especially for children who are already at nursery or school and will be used to a routine.

Children really thrive on predictability, especially when life is changing around them. Check out some tips HERE!

If you are with roommates! Weeelllll I hope you like each other because you are going to have your own little game of Big Brother going on! ...kidding of course! A lot of people will be working from home so it’s important to still maintain a schedule and if you can, still shop and support local and still keep those spirits high :D

“So… How can I still have fun Logan??” you might ask!

Here are some things you can do and even some ways to help out if you are starting to get some cabin fever!

-You could so the movie scavenger hunt that the Okotoks film fest is putting on! Watch a movie and talk about it with your neighbours on their FB page.
-You can try to complete a puzzle... The more pieces the better! Feeling extra saucy? Take on a Rubik's Cube!!
-Start a journal or blog. Sure, it can be about the coronavirus, but it could also be about a specific interest from chess to cheese.
-If it won't bother your neighbours, dust off that old instrument and practice! Maybe you'll be a pro here soon
-Or even kick start that cooking career!

If you really need to get out there are the COVID 19 Volunteers, Stone Soup and this Sunday there is a food drive happening at the Rec Parking lot from 1 to 4.

It’s weird I know… but social distancing is the best way to help “flatten the curve”

How are you spending your time at home??
