Cavalry FC, whose home pitch is the ATCO Field at Spruce Meadows, is gearing up for the playoffs this Saturday, October 14.
After capturing the Canadian Premier League title with two games remaining in the regular season, they hoisted the Shield Trophy at their final league match last weekend in their 3-0 victory over Pacific FC.
Finishing in first place has its rewards as they get a bye in the first round and move right to a semi-final match against the Forge from Hamilton.
If they win, they move on to the Championship final.
Game time is 3:00 p.m. this Saturday.
