Heavy wet snow causes power outages throughout the Foothills

The heavy wet snow that hit the Foothills last night and this morning caused power outages.

There are still power outages affecting the Diamond Valley and Millarville areas.

The latest outages map from Fortis Alberta shows outages throughout the area with no estimated time yet of when power will be restored.

Some schools had to close for the day including the two schools in Black Diamond and the Turner Valley school.
