The JV boys Falcons hosted their Falcons Classic Tournament over the weekend and hosted 3 other teams.

Cross town rivals, HTA made an appearance, along with Nelson Mandela out of Calgary and Ross Shepherd from Edmonton.

The home team Falcons dominated their opponents on Friday, February 10, beating HTA 74-53 and then followed that with a 100-66 win over Nelson Mandela School.

Both wins would advance the Comp boys to the finals against Ross Shepherd.

Before the finals, HTA took third place by dribbling past Nelson Mandela to a 110-89 victory.

The championship was a tight game, but the Falcons backcourt and fast breaks kept them alive, handing the Edmonton school a 66-59 win, putting them on top of the podium with a gold medal.

Falcons championship game MVP's were Tyler Rowland and Cole Tucker.

The JV boys get a well deserved week off but will resume games at the Bishop Grandin Tournament the following weekend vs Ernest Manning from Calgary.
