Despite rainy and overcast skies hundreds of Okotoks residents volunteers and community members took part in the annual Community Clean Up & Tree Planting.
The event, which was held at Ethel Tucker Park location beside the Arts and Learning Campus, concluded with a BBQ hosted by the Kinsmen Club of Okotoks.
Bird Canada, COBS and Sobeys Okotoks were also on site.
If residents were discouraged by the rain and clouds they are still encouraged to clean up their communities when the warm weather makes its return.
