The Town of Okotoks celebrated Canada Day in a big way.
Originally, the activities were scheduled to take place outdoors at the Wylie Athletic Park ball diamond #10, but due to the weather, the Town moved the fun into the Murray Arenas at the Okotoks Rec Centre.
Due to the rain, unfortunately, the FitNinja obstacle course was cancelled for the day.
The fundraising BBQ still happened, with the proceeds going to KidSport Okotoks.
There was entertainment and various types of food in their cultural Homemade Potluck, and Mayor Thorn gave a speech before the singing of the national anthem.
