There was no shortage of yeehaws and yahoos last weekend at the High River Rodeo Grounds. 

Thousands crammed into the stands at the grounds for the 2024 Guy Weadick Rodeo. Saturday's evening event was completely sold out according to the High River Ag Society.

Fans of all ages were treated to outstanding performances from rodeo greats like Orin Larsen, Brendan Laye, and Coy Robbins. 

Robbins won the Bull Riding competition with 89.5 points, earning over $1,700 in prize money. 

Larsen took the top spot in Bareback Riding with 87.5 points while Laye had the top time in Steer Wrestling at 4.0 seconds. 

Other winners from the weekend were Tyrel Roberts in Saddle Bronc Riding, Kolton Schmidt and Landen Glenn in Team Roping, Shane Hanchey in Tie-Down Roping, Paige Jones in Barrel Racing, and Kylie Whiteside in Breakaway Roping.  

The Ag Society said on Facebook that the rodeo was an incredible success and is already looking forward to 2025.
