One of the most unique events the Little Britches Parade does is a 'battle of the bands' at George Lane Park.
The marching bands from the parade head to the park after the parade where they enjoy a beef-on-a-bun lunch courtesy of the Highwood Lions Club.
Then they each take turns performing songs and routines in front of a packed crowd.
The Spring Market, hosted by Inclusion Foothills again, is held in the Highwood Centre right across the street from George Lane Park.
They welcome a wide variety of local and semi-local vendors with many unique items. And the crowd was enjoying all the variety.
