With Family Day weekend upon us, you might be looking for some family things to do.

Like ice skating on the outdoor rink by the Okotoks Rec Centre.

Mind you, with the constant fluctuation of the temperatures these days, the quality of the ice might be a bit iffy.

Marnie Johnston from McMan Okotoks Family Resource Network says there's a free outdoor skate on Saturday along with a complimentary lunch.

It's scheduled for 11 a.m. until 2 p.m., and she says there will also be a donut truck.

The only thing is you will need to bring your own skates.
