The Calgary Flames play their second and final intra-squad game Monday, January 11, before they head to Winnipeg to open the season Thursday, January 14.

Flames Coach, Geoff Ward, says he has plenty of good prospects this year, but he won't single any of them out until fans see them.

"We've got some real good, solid depth on our team and we're anxious to get the season going. But, I don't want to point any one or two guys out in order to drive expectations on them. So, we'll leave it at that and we'll allow the fans to sort of make up their minds on who those guys will be."

Ward, says they'll likely use Monday night's contest to set their line-up for their opener against the Jets.

"You know we've got the off-day to debate it a little bit. As well as come up with a plan for our Wednesday skate before we go to Winnipeg. But Monday's game will definitely have an impact on what we may see potentially as our opening night line up."

Flames winger, Johnny Gaudreau says camp this year has been short, but he thinks it's been good.

"We really did a great job in these first five, six, seven days of training camp. You know our top players all the way down the young prospects, everyone's really shown up and it's been a great camp."

The Flames are back in Calgary Saturday, January 16 for their home opener against the Vancouver Canucks.
