That dump of snow we had is slowly (very slowly) melting away, especially on all the sledding hills around town!

But I think that's more because the sledding hills are getting A LOT of action, which is awesome to see.

The Town of Okotoks suggests 6 official hills around the community, so Logan and I decided we should rate them. (You know, to help you prioritize!)

Check the video to see our ratings:

Okay, we kind of went off script a bit and HAD to throw DMG in there cause it's such an awesome hill but we missed Cimarron Park so you'll have to check it out for us!

As you can see they're ALL awesome hills but let's take a bit of a more in-depth look here:

1. Kinsmen Park: 8/10

My rating stands after seeing all the hills. (I went in blind because I had never seen any of the hills before! ) This hill was a trek to get up! (which is fine when you're a kid but when you're an out of shape adult it was a pain lol) And there are also some suspect trees at the bottom that you'd have to watch for but other than that it's a great hill!

2. Drake Landing Drive Soccer Park: 7/10

3. Wathen Park: 7/10

Upon seeing the other hills I'm going to drop this hill to a 6/10. It's pretty small but I still think it'd be a lot of fun to hold a 'how far can you' go contest there.

4. Doctor Morris Gibson Hill - 10/10

Henderson Park - 6/10

I'm gonna nudge this rating up to a cool 6.5 because there was a bench at the top of the hill that parents could sit and watch their kids from and even push them down the hill without really moving. I thought that was a nice touch.

6. Cedar Grove Park - 8.5/10

This was a new discovery, a hidden gem so it automatically got a great score!
