The Canadian government provided an update on the Coronavirus outbreak today.

At least 325 Canadians will be evacuated from Wuhan, the city in the Chinese province of Hubei where the outbreak originated.

Federal officials have arrived in Wuhan to help coordinate the evacuation.

The evacuees will land at Trenton Air Base in Ontario, where they will be quarantined for two weeks.

Only four confirmed cases of Coronavirus have been reported in Canada so far, though nearly 17,500 cases have been confirmed worldwide. 362 people have died from the virus.

No cases of Coronavirus have yet been confirmed in Alberta.

The World Health Organization has declared the outbreak a public health emergency.
