The Southern Alberta Crime Reduction Unit went out and got their offenders last week.

The unit conducted a week-long crime reduction initiative that targeted offenders with outstanding warrants within Claresholm, Fort Macleod and Piikani Nation detachment areas. 

In total, officers arrested eleven individuals, executing 37 outstanding warrants for 45 charges. 

There were 28 Criminal Code charges; 12 under the Traffic Safety Act, four Provincial Offences under the Procedure Act and one under the Controlled Drugs and Substance Act.

Officers also charged two offenders with one count each of failing to comply with their release order.
