June 22nd was a busy day for Okotoks! The Okotoks Library hosted the Birds of Prey program outside the library this morning. Many families attend the educational event to see first-hand different bird species. For the grand finale, our friend who is also an eagle wowed the audience.

Downtown Okotoks was packed with many local musicians for the annual BuskersFest. Musicians lined the street with their instruments and performed live in front of large local crowds. Each musician had the opportunity to perform a song at Olde Towne Plaza. This allowed performers to gain exposure for the competition. Each musician had a name tag. Those who attend could decide which performer was their favorite and cast a vote. While people enjoyed the live music many shopped at the artisan market set-up among the performers. There was tons of food, face painting, and even henna tattoos available at the market.

Keep your eyes peeled for art displays set up in the nooks and crannies of downtown Okotoks. There are nine different public art displays for the community to enjoy. Can you find all nine?
