The Diamond Valley Discovery Day and Parade is set to return on June 1.

The 56th Diamond Valley parade will begin at 10 a.m. and will make a large loop around the Black Diamond side of town, and will have live music, floats, horseback riders, and horse-drawn wagons.

There is a big change to the parade route this year, though, with it turning West on 1 Ave SW, instead of continuing north along Highway 22 before heading West on Centre Avenue, aka Highway 22.

Once the parade fun-tivities are complete, head over to Millennium Park on the Turner Valley side of town and enjoy festivities designed for the whole family.

From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Millennium Park will be filled with bounce houses, a petting zoo, dunk tanks, an artisan market, face painting, live music, and food vendors.

They are still accepting registrations from people who wish to join in on the parade fun, volunteer for Diamond Valley Discovery Day events, market or food vendors, and sponsors.
