The Dawgs have made it 4 in a row with the 10-7 win over the Weyburn Beavers Thursday night.

The Dawgs bats stayed consistent as they put up 13 hits in the victory. Dawgs pitching continues to be very consistent from start to finish as they struck out 6 Beaver batters.

The Dawgs move into sole possession of first place in the west division and the WCBL with a record of 14-5.

Cole Cramer (Linn-Benton CC, OR) was in a groove going 3 for 3 while recording home 4 RBIs. Caleb Lumbard (Okanagan College) and Aidan Rose (UBC) would both drive in an RBI in the game. Cesar Valero (Sacramento State University, CA) would go 2 for 4, scoring 2 times in the victory.

Bobby Vath (LSU Shreveport, LA) got the start and tossed 5 innings, giving up 6 hits, 3 runs and 4 strike outs while facing 19 batters. The Dawgs bullpen came in and locked things down for the remainder of the game allowing 4 runs on 4 hits in the win.

The Dawgs wrap up their two-game series with the Weyburn Beavers at Seaman Stadium on June 23rd with first pitch scheduled for 7:05pm.

The Dawgs welcome the Regina Red Sox’s to town for a two-game set starting Saturday June 25th at 7:05pm.
