Local Chambers of Commerce are getting together to help businesses in the Foothills.

Executive Director of the High River Chamber, Lisa Szabon-Smith says they have a partnership program with the regional economic collaboration group.

"We're hosting a Business Builders event where the focus is on Knowing Your Marketing Plan and that one is hosted in Diamond Valley at the Sheep River Library from 11:30 to 1:30 and there are tickets online."

That comes up on October 17.

The Chamber is also hosting a Monthly Mingle on October 25 at the Inclusion Foothills JOBz Centre on Macleod Trail next to P and H.

"Inclusion Foothills is welcoming us in and they're going to talk about their programs with a highlight on this month's theme which is the DEAM (Disability Employment Awareness Month) and then show us their new space."

Other Business Builder events are set for November 6 in Nanton at the Curling Club Lounge and December 4 at the Ramada Hotel.
