A Canada-wide warrant has been placed on a man connected to two homicide cases.

In March of this year, 22-year-old Joseph Chlala was set to be sentenced for the 2020 homicide of Christian Navos.

Navos was killed in a public park in the community of Legacy, with Chlala being one of the three suspects charged.

A warrant was issued after he removed his ankle bracelet, and he's been at large since.

He's now wanted on a Canada-wide warrant in relation to the June 12 shooting death of 21-year-old Osama Ali in Edmonton.

Homicide detectives requested the warrant on September 12 and say he has connections in Edmonton, Calgary, and Ottawa.

Chlala is described as being 5’5” with a heavy build, with brown hair and green eyes.
