The Brooks Bandits are all set to host the best-of-three Rocky Mountain Challenge series against the Surrey Eagles after the Eagles won the Fred Page Cup in the BC Division.

Brooks cemented their appearance in the Rocky Mountain Challenge after taking the Sherwood Park Crusaders in the Alberta Cup final in just five games. The Bandits won the first two games with the Crusaders following up with a win in game three. Bandits then strung two wins together to win it in five.

Surrey claimed their position in the Rocky Mountain Challenge when they beat the Penticton Vess in six games during the Fred Page Cup finals. The Vees and Eagles would split the series 2-2 which was followed by two victories by the Eagles to punch themselves into the final. The Eagles won game six by a score of 3-1 on Sunday (May 26).

Micah Berger for the Eagles was their top scorer in playoffs with 25 points in 24 games, Brooks' top scorer in the playoffs comes from the rookie Logan Sawyer with 15 points in 12 games.

The Rocky Mountain Challenge starts on Friday (May 31) with Brooks hosting all three possible games.
