The celebrations for Alberta Day were a big hit in High River.

The Friday night free concert put on by the Town of High River kicked off at 6 p.m. at George Lane Park.

Between two and three hundred people showed up with lawnchairs in hand for the free concert.

The only thing you had to pay for was food from the food trucks if you forgot to bring snacks.

Ziggy Ryerson got the crowd going first, followed by Brettyn Rose and local band Stone Pony.
