An air quality advisory has been issued for the Foothills and surrounding regions.

During a wildfire, smoke conditions can change quickly over short distances and can vary considerably hour-by-hour.

People with pre-existing health conditions, the elderly, infants, children and sensitive individuals are more likely to experience health effects from smoke exposure.

Although it isn't as hot as it was on Friday, there is still a heat warning in affect for today. Please be wary of were you are going and if you need to take your kids or pets anywhere, do not leave them in your vehicle as the temperature in your vehicle will get much hotter than the outside temperature.

Those with no respiratory issues are advised to also watch how long they expose themselves to this kind of weather.

Be advised and be wise.
