Diamond Valley will be cleaning up their streets this week, as long as the weather continues to cooperate.

Street sweeping crews will be out from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. from Monday (May 6) to Friday (May 10) this week.

They will be putting signs up in the neighbourhoods ahead of when they plan to be in the area, to let people know where they will be working.

Once signs are in place, the Town is asking for residents to remove their vehicles and any other obstacles, such as driveway ramps, off the street to allow crews to safely work.

That includes waste bins, which they are asking people to put their bins on either a grassy boulevard in front of the home or on the front lawn.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the street sweeping signs were not put up over the weekend.

But don't worry about if your vehicle is in the way or not on Monday because crews will simply work around the public for the day.

Signage will be set up throughout the day, so vehicles will have to be moved as of Tuesday morning.

Crews will come back later in the week and clean up what they missed on Monday.
