Uber Eats is now available in High River.

Not only can you get your favourite food delivered from local restaurants, but they will also pick up any everyday essentials you need.

Canadian spokesperson Keerthana Rang says they are ready to roll out whatever High River residents' needs are.

"Residents and visitors in High River can order delivery from their favourite restaurants along with everyday essentials now like groceries, alcohol, pet supplies, and more on Uber Eats."

Rang also says they do their research before they roll it out in a new community. That's what they did before launching in Okotoks on April 19.

"Before we launch in a city we actually reach out to local restaurants and merchants to see if they want to be on the app. And so, residents and visitors open the app they will already see a number of restaurants and grocery stores on the app so that they're ready to order today."

High River residents no longer have the only option being Door Dash.

Rang also mentioned that if you are interested in being a delivery driver to reach out to the company via their website

If you're wondering about Skip the Dishes, it's only available in Okotoks, for now.
