Saturday was a big success! From Pop Up in the Park to the Off the Vine Winefest, there was so much fun stuff to do! The Eagle Summer Street Team started their day at Minue Park in Westmount, for the fourth annual Pop Up in the Park event! Local performers - singers, musicians, and even a magician - came out to display their talents for the Okotoks community! A completely free event, we celebrated local talent with amazing stage performances!
Later on in the day, the Eagle Street Team joined Dave Elder and Logan Coutts from the on-air crew at Ethel Tucker Park to play some Jenga at Winefest! The first ever Off the Vine Wine Festival in Okotoks was a giant hit! People from all over town came together in celebration of food and drink. This adult-only event featured wine-lovers and foodies coming together to have some fun and maybe even play a bit of Jenga! Logan Coutts, the Morning Show host on The Eagle 100.9 was the DJ for the event - he did an awesome job, as always! Thanks to everyone who came out today to enjoy what Okotoks has to offer - you make the community a better place with all your participation!
Be sure to check out the images below - from all the awesome performers at Pop Up in the Park to Dave, Logan, and Shveta hanging out at WineFest, playing some Jenga and having lots of fun!
