The fourth Picnic at the Piano of the summer was a blast! Trish Evans, an incredibly talented pianist from Calgary, came down to spend some time with Okotokian families! Playing a range of songs from Jackson 5 all the way to modern pop, everyone enjoyed what the afternoon had to offer! The fifth Picnic at the Piano of the summer 2018 will take place on Saturday, September 29th! Join the Town of Okotoks Culture & Heritage and Heather Blush - a talented and accomplished Canadian jazz singer - for the final Picnic at the Piano of the summer! Once again, at Olde Towne Plaza, the noon-hour outdoor concert will be a blast - great weather and good friends will make the day a blast!
Catch the Eagle Summer Street Team at our next adventure: the Annual Chili Fest and Cookoff! On Saturday, August 25 from 11 am to 4 pm, at downtown Okotoks, the event features live music, an outdoor artisan street market, and of course, lots and lots of chili! Come on down with your friends and family to sample all the spicy chili creations and vote for your favourite! Hope to see you there!
