The Eagle Street Team had an eventful Saturday! First we started off at Kayben Farms for their very first Forest Festival! Everyone was dressed up in their best fairy costume - wings, wands, and all! Although there was only one final winner for the fairy dress-up contest, everyone looked their best in their glittery outfits! The Eagle Team also had a chance to stop by the petting zoo to say hello to all the lambs, ducks, and pigs hanging around! Thanks Kayben for all the fun!
Later on in the day, the entire on-air team went to Champion Park for their Second Annual Open House! Here we learnt of all the history and culture of Canada's past while perusing the antique trains on display! The vast and beautiful property was on display for Okotokians to peruse and with over 55 acres of land, different games for us to compete against each other with, and delicious hot dogs, the event was a major success!
Be sure to check out the images below - from little fairies at Kayben Farms, to Tom, Dave, and Logan enjoying their time on the trains at Champion Park!
Catch the Eagle Summer Street Team at our next adventure: Dairy Queen's Miracle Treat Day on Thursday, August 9! On Miracle Treat Day, net proceeds from every Blizzard Treat sold at participating DQ locations will be donated to a local Children's Miracle Network member hospital. A delicious treat for a wonderful cause! Be sure to check out https://miracletreatday.ca/ for more information!
Also be sure to enter for your chance to win the all-new 2019 Ram 1500 at www.ridetheram.com! Place Okotoks - Eagle 100.9 as your preferred station to help us out as well!
