Happy International Women's Day!
Today, we take a look back at some incredible women in our community who are changing the world, one step at a time!
Below are some of my favorite moments from this past week!

Marg Cox:
Hard to go to an event in town without chatting with this woman!
She has gotten pretty much every award Okotoks has to offer including the Heart of Okotoks Award for volunteering

Kristy from Big Brothers Big Sisters:

Sandi Kennedy:
Sandi Kennedy was born and raised in the Foothills Country
She is the First and only female mayor of Okotoks a Rotary Club member and you see her name and face all over our town and the foothills!

Angela Groeneveld:
Manager for Economic Development for the Town of Okotoks.
Honestly, I didn't know much about Angela before our interview. Thank you for an amazing interview and I can't wait to work with you in the future!

Elisa Friesen:
A friend of the Eagle and hosting her first art show at the OAG. We chat about Life, Art and what Women's Day means to her.

And of course
Megan Coutts:
My sister, Megan has traveled the world building school and spreading love to every smiling face she sees!

And a final thank you to all the people who called in to share their stories!
