With the Provincial NDP tanking in the polls, the PC's without a leader and no one sure if the Wildrose will merge with them, could the Alberta Party be poised to make a breakthrough?

Highwood Alberta Party Constituency Association President Joel Windsor thinks so.

But he says they need to get out and in front a whole lot more people to make it happen.

"I think we're about to start a lot more of it and I think you're going to see it right now. People have to see who we are. People have to see what we can offer to Albertans. Because what we're doing is based on our consultation with Albertans, and not just the one's who are paying Alberta party fees, but the ones who happen to be in the industries we're looking to do some adjustment to."

Windsor ran in the last provincial election in Highwood, and plans to run again in 2019.
