The Town of Turner Valley is still waiting to find out the decision of the Environmental Appeal Board from their hearing back in May.

Turner Valley CAO Barry Williamson says the Board's recommendation to Alberta Environment and the Minister's Office is due now.

"We had understood that they normally have one month to respond and we were advised that it looked like they got a one month extension based on the change in government. So we should have heard something by the end of June. So, I mean would could get something before this week is out, we may get something next week. But we are expecting it very, very shortly."

A pair of residents had appealed to the board over the Town's continued testing of it's reservoir and the way the new infiltration gallery was handled.

Williamson says he's confident the Board will rule on the side of the Town, adding they had been granted approvals by the Province before work started on the all the projects.
