Banff National Park and Yoho National Park have had a special guest this year.
A rare white grizzly bear has been roaming between the two parks and has been spotted a couple of times by drivers in Yoho's Park and in Banff..
Staff at Yoho have also noticed some drivers getting a bit too close to the animal and have had to take action to keep visitors and the animals safe.
A ten kilometre no-stop zone has been put in place along a stretch of the Trans-Canada Highway that runs through Yoho National Park.
Drivers caught stopping along the no-stop area can face fines from $115.00- $25,000.00 and could land a court date.
It's expected the zone will be in place until the bears leave the area.
Drivers that spot the bear are asked to call Banff's dispatch at 403-762-1470.
