The Twilight Long Table Dinner was a resounding success on Friday with 200 people taking in the sold out event.

That is 50 more than attended last year.

It was the second year for the dinner which raises money for SNAPS, the Foothills Special Needs Association for Parents and Siblings, and it looks like it has become a beloved occasion for many.

SNAPS Executive Director Orvella Small says the night was amazing.

"The meal that was provided by Highwood Catering was exceptional," said Small. "There wasn't one unhappy person sitting at the table. It was wonderful."

She added the set up and having 200 people seated at one long table was amazing.

"People really enjoyed from begriming to end. And they didn't want to go home. I think it is going to be an annual event. The tickets sold out quicker than last year."

The event turned into a two-day event with the Rouge Eh Blanc fashion show that took place on Sunday.

Small adds the event is a success because of all the hard work and dedication of the committee members and the volunteers.
