Plenty of new faces around the council table in Turner Valley following last weeks election.

In all, a new Mayor and four new faces find themselves on Council, along with a pair of incumbents in John Waring and Barry Crane.

Mayor Gary Rowntree says Council won't have much time to find their feet as they'll get into budget talks almost immediately.

"I've already talked to administration about that. Looking at going into the strategic side of the budget process, probably it looks like the mid to end of next month. That'll be an important part as well as all of Council will be involved in that."

Rowntree and the rest of Council were sworn in last night, October 25.

They'll hold their organizational meeting, Monday, October 30.
