A High River man was forced to hand over the keys to his truck and trailer Friday morning about 10:30 by thieves.

RCMP say the armed robbery happened at the Summerset Car Wash on the corner of 5th Street and 7th Ave, S.E.

A 32 year old man had gone to the car wash to wash his boat.  While there he was approached by 2 males who were inquiring about his boat and one of the men put the victim in a headlock.

A third man entered the wash bay and demanded the victim's keys at gun point.

One of the men then got into the pickup truck and left the area while the others are believed to have fled in a charcoal coloured  Ford F-350 pickup.  This Ford is also believed to have black fender flares, after market chromed rims, and is believed to be a 2008 -2010 model.

The four or possibly five offenders were described as First Nations, all wearing dark clothing and ranging in heights from 5' 9" to 6'.  One may have been wearing a dark red plaid jacket.

The boat was later located abandoned in an alley between 6 and 7th Avenues off of 1st Street S.E.  A description of the missing truck is a 2011 Blue Dodge 2500 quad cab pickup truck with chrome running boards and a tonneau cover - Alberta plate JAP-054
