Okotoks children can show case their artistic talents as the twelfth Annual Christmas Coloring Contest is underway at the Okotoks Public Library.

Sarah Gillie, Youth Services Manager for the Okotoks Public Library, says this holiday contest has been around for some time, and is inclusive.

"It's our twelfth year running the contest, and it's open for ages one through twelve," she said.

Gillie says this contest is a favourite for children, residents and library staff.

"It's a very popular contest. They really enjoy seeing their creations in the library, we cover every available wall space with all of the entries, and the kids love to come in and look for the entry on the wall and show their friends and families," she said.

Children can pick up a colouring picture at the Okotoks Library, or print one online, color it how they see fit and submit it to the library contest prior to the December 16th deadline.
