No matter how far down you think you've fallen a transformed life is possible.

Narrow Road Home Program Director Kimberley Engbrecht says there is a place for women to go for help.

"The group is a forum to tell the truth and feel that they're not alone from every aspect that can affect us socially and in our families. The group meets every Thursday at 1:30pm at 522 MacLeod Trail in High River."

She says most treatment centres have a waiting list of 3 to 4 months but says there isn't any with them.

Participant Lacey Rommens says she's a success story when it comes to the program at Narrow Road Home.

"I've been to three other programs and this is my third and none of them have worked for me except this one. I've been here for three months and I feel like a different person."

Rommens says the key is to stop waiting and find a program that works as soon as possible.

Program Director Kimberley Engbrecht says women can get the support they need with a variety of issues.

"We deal with everything from divorce, fractured relationships and addictions. There's no cost involved, women can just show up and introduce themselves and we welcome them."
