Snow hit the Foothills on Thursday morning.

Cooler temperatures and rain settled in overnight on Wednesday into Thursday and turned into large white flakes. The snow didn't stick and added more moisture helping with dry conditions.

Other areas of southern Alberta are under a snowfall warning including Banff, Kananaskis Country, Pincher Creek, and Waterton.

A chance of snow is expected to carry overnight in Okotoks along with a chance of rain and a low of -3 C.

Conditions are expected to improve Friday with a mix of sun and cloud and a high of 9 C.
