Four hours of sweating your tail off has lead to more money towards cancer research and awareness.

The fourth annual Motion Fitness Spin-a-thon was hit with fitness enthusiasts who almost faced the element of spinning outside in the rain before moving inside.

Spin-A-Thon coordinator and senior trainer at motion fitness Maggie Bowen says all in all, it was a successful day.

"Today was fantastic, we had to do a quick change in location from outside to inside, but everybody was a trooper and it was hard, it was fun, it was exciting though!"

Usually spin classes aren't in the four hour variety for most but Bowen says everyone battled for the cause.

"Four spin class is a lot of dedication," she says. "Because by the time you've hit hour three, you don't have your legs left, so your last hour is just all spirit, and that's nothing what people go through for chemo so that's our theory."

Bowen is trying to raise 2500 dollars for her Ride to Conquer Cancer Ride and has almost raised her goal. He will be taking donations this week.

"We're going to be taking donations for the next week at motion fitness, and there's donation forms, because all donations are tax deductible, goes right to the ride to conquer cancer."
