The Foothills SNAPS held there first Pop-Up Fashion Show Thursday night.

The event included a runway fashion show, a silent auction, 50/50 and some great food.

Event and volunteer coordinator for Foothills SNAPS Becky Webster says that the community support helps make these kind of events a success.

"There is nine different businesses from Okotoks and High River that participated in the event in terms of modeling and donating to the silent auction."

The event featured a range of different fashions and accessories.

For any fundraising event the volunteer help is essential.

"For an event like this around 68 volunteers are needed to make it happen," Webster says.

In coordination with building an awareness, the group also works with its participants on being apart of the community.

"There was a number of SNAPS participants modeling in the show, and that is what SNAPS is all about inclusion."
