While it's hard to find 10 people with the same opinion on the outcome of Monday's Federal Election, one group is generally happy with how it turned out.

The Canadian Federation of Independent Business says they're just fine with a Liberal Government under Justin Trudeau, as long as they stick to their campaign promises to small business.

CFIB Alberta Director Amber Ruddy says they were happy about discussions during the campaign about lowering the small business tax rate.

"In fact all parties had promised to lower the small businesses corporate tax rate. So recognizing this vibrant sector of our economy, that makes up such a huge portion of our jobs, is key no matter what party. It transcends partisan lines."

Ruddy says she's also looking to the Liberals to follow up on other promises in regard to payroll taxes, access to skilled labour and recognizing the training needs of small businesses.
