Foothills residents started their week with slick road conditions and a bit of snow.

According to EMS, they responded to a collision involving two vehicles along Highway 22, north of Plummers Rd. on Monday morning.

Paramedics say the incident claimed the life of a woman and sent a man to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
