There'll be plenty to see and do during this year's High River Santa Claus Parade.

There's an outdoor market, a craft fair, and of course enough hot dogs and hot chocolate to warm everyone's holiday cockles.

Parade organizer Ted Dawson says there also won't be any shortage of entertainment.

"Sarah Curle's going to be singing Christmas carols, so bring your voice. The Light Up George Lane Park ceremony is at 5:30. And then Sarah will move over to the Stampede Stage by the museum and then the parade gets underway at 6:30 sharp."

Dawson says parade entries this year can't be any longer than 60 feet long or 11 feet wide, simply to assure crowd safety and accommodate the new streets in downtown High River.

The parade goes Friday, December 2.
